The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, USJ

The last time i went to London back in 2010, Harry Potter Studios Tour was not open yet, not even the 'embedded HP trolley' thingy at King's Cross St, and i was so infuriated when i saw the USJ advertisement while i was in Japan in 2104 showing the opening date for Harry Potter World in USJ will only be a month after our trip. Frustated gilaa. So since then, i make a vow to myself that i am coming back to Japan just for this unforgettable experience unless i want to save a lot for California trip.

To get into the The Wizarding World, there are separate ticket for it, not that you have to pay more. But you have to get the timed ticket in the park or you can also buy in advance (with fast pass - yang ni kena bayar extra). Timed ticket means you can only enter that area according to your ticket only. Masuk ikut timing tu keluar ikut suka la nak pukul berapa. Sounds macam renyahh tapi in order to give the best experience to everyone, memang kena buat macam tu or it will be too congested inside.

So, we did bought the ticket pass which is mahal gila and not sure whether to call this lucky or unlucky, the day we went, tak ramai orang langsung, so we didnt need to use our timed ticket pon. Boleh masuk keluar bila bila masa je. Yeeeyyyyyyy!

Drinking the butter beer

The butter beer is a must-try dekat sana, the taste is so soo lah haha since i dont really like butter-scotchy flavor but to fellow Muslim, fret not it is a non-alcohol drinks, so boleh minum dengan senang hati lol, and if you dont really want to spend inside here (which is ridiculous), you can just buy the drinks and you can have the glass as souvenir. 2 in 1 bebeh. 

As for the rides, there are two of them. One is the Flight of the Hipogriff, something like a dragon roller coaster at Genting which is suitable for kids, which i didnt ride it because not worth the long queue, and second is Harry Potter and The Forbidden Journey. Ok, this one has been awarded for like 5 years as best ride in the world so i had a high expectation but turns out it was just okay lah. I mean they won it in terms of technological thingy which i dont really appreciated it haha, it was something like Transformer's ride in USS but with Harry Potter theme of course. You will feel like you re on a broomstick and flying across all the Hogwarts area trying to catch the Snitch. Niceee but kind of dizzy a bit sampai Reenco terus K.O lepas naik this ride -_-'.

But the attractions that i would recommend is the one inside the Olivanders. Remember the first time Harry went to the shop to get his first own wand? Haa camtu la the show, realll okay because we will be inside the dusty shop and they will choose one of the audience to be the 'harry potter' and choose the wand for him, and the thing i appreciated most is because since they can see some of the audience is not Japanese, they talked in english (campur2 Jepun) whichhh kalau dekat other attractions memang nann hadoo die nak cakap english. haha. So the feelings was muchh reall laha and even the performer is mat saleh not Japanse. I spend a lot of time inside the Ollivanders sebab nak tengok each one of the character's wand and i chose to buy Hermione and Harry's wand.

The reason you needs to buy the wand is bcause, inside the area there's a lot of places where you can play with your wand. When you bought the wand, there's a map inside showing the places where you can try all the spell and cast the magic yourself. Coooollll weeehhh like realllyyy cooolll! cannot describe tiba tiba keluar api lah tiba tiba pintu terbukak lah, tak kira la kalau dia tipu pon tetapppp coooll hahaha. 

Aside from that, just enjoyyy the Hogsmeade itself, all the shops, the environment, the details of every each of thing and dont forget to tour around the Hogwarts castle where you can see the Dumbledore's office, the classroom, and also the Fat lady. The Hogwarts castle wehhhhhh is indescribable. Overwhelming gilaaaaa. I remember everytime i watched Harry Potter and Sorcerer Stone, when the students were soo mesmerized by the castle when they reached Hogwarts by the boat, yupp that exactly what i felt when i saw the castle. Like i want to stay there foreverrr! Dahlah ada Hogwarts Express someemoreee it really feels like i'm one of the Hogwarts student who went out for an outing at Hogsmeade that day hahaha.

I went there twice, if only i could stay longer but i need to ride other rides as well in the USJ, bazirr la beli ticket mahal mahal kan. Hahaaa. If i went there alone by myself, i surely will buy 2 days pass so that i can spend the whole day in Wizarding World and another day for others rides. There's a show at the night time but i didnt went there afraid my friends will find me annoying for spending lots of time there haha, and we kind of a bit far from that area by the night time. 

Other rides you should try in USJ is the Flying Dinasour, the besssstttt and scariest rideeee obviously if only we could ride it twice, and other things tu make sure naik je lah sebab tak takut pon. We rode almost everythings sampai Reenco dah naik boring tunggu kitaorang haha. Basicly, USJ is soo different than USS so every each of the theme/park are new to us, so semuaa canttiikkk and besttt gilaaaaaa. The one that i'm kind of regret is we didnt spend much time in Despicable area, padahal it is one of the famous attraction there. Too mannnyyyy peopppllle weeehh likeee crowded macam pegi Bazaar Ramadhan kind of crowded.

Some tips:

1) For Muslim, you can bring the packed foods inside, they didnt really check the bag at the entrance.

2) Ask to use the guest room at the entrance for Solat for a while, no need to solat tepi tepi locker. 

3) For rides if tak nak beli fast pass, opt for single rider. Can savee so muchh timee queuing weh.

4) For butterbeers, there's two places you can buy, go for the one near to the Hogwarts Castle if the front one too crowded.

5) You can skip show at Water World because its the same as in USS.

Other than that, enjoyyyyy your experience there cause that what i did.

So, another best friend of mine who deserves a post too.

This one macam tak payah cerita la, one of a millions people who always makes my life easier, aside from kena layan demand dia :P

We were friends since 2009, my diploma and degree's roommates and along the waaaaay she becomes my primary school's friend as well -____-. I knew her friends, she knew my friends so it makes our life so much easier bila nak lepak haha.

There's so much stories to be told about her, she was beside me most of the times, during my ups and during my downs, we judged each other, we cursed each other, we have the same taste in foood, we discussed almost everything from artist gossip to heavy story about our politics / economy stuff in daily basis. Tak cukup dekat whatsapp, dekat DM IG sambung lagi, so basicly when she was planning for her wedding, obviously she will discussed with me too until one time she had to ask me whether im okay with her discussing all these things with me, afraid that i'm going to be sad lah konon. Like hellooo kalau kau tak include aku, lagi aku kecik hati hokehh.

Knowing her from before, i thought she will be one hell of bridezilla but she become much more calmer, rational kind of person lately so everything was so smooth Alhamdulillah, aside from parents/makcik sanak sedara dramas which i believes were a trial for any of pengantin pon haha. The wedding was held at Masjid Desa Pandan for akad and Dewan JPS Ampang for reception - 30 Jun & 1st July 2017. 

I was there from the preparations, a surprise bridal breakfast shower in Cameron, a night before the akad (where she left us the bridesmaid to settle her hantaran while she went for majlis kesyukuran -__- damn you), all the bridesmaid sleepover at her airbnb and i even sneaked out to her bed at night sebab sakit badan (yes Ayoi, aku dah rasmikan katil tu dulu, i tried not to but sorry haha),  on her akad day (made her cried a bucket while im being the cool onee boo), on the morning of her reception day (asked me to brings breakfast for them -____- damn you again) and even after the day after the wedding, she still bugged me with her annoying ws.

So, to say i am happy for her marriage is an understatement. I was beyond than happy, she deserves all the happiness, she's too good to be my friend so she need the best guy to lead and accompanies her because one day i know i will get tired of her so good for you for finding the right man  hahahaha.

 I was prepared to lost her after her wedding - this thing is normal especially if you are women, you have to follow the hubs, cooks for the family, entertains both family, etc etc so i was really okay and being a matured friends puiiii i know she now has a new commitment which is much much heavier than me, but i really hope one thing from her though ...

A year later

I thought my life would be boring, but surprisingly a lot of things happened, lot of good things happened, had my bad day as well but every each of them somehow doesn't really affect me anymore.

But there so much is left unsaid as i stop writing in blogs and it makes me a little bit sad. I started to forget all my vacation memories, all good events i've attended and so today i decided to post a btit about my friend's weddings. Yes, with a S coz all my close friends are married already. haha.

They are actually my childhood friends, from my primary schools. As much as i have my other cool friends as well which i loveeee themm too, but these people have a special place in my heart. Maybe sebab dah kawan lama sangat kot - haha. I know some people said, friendship dont last forever lah, family comes firstlah yada yada but okay let make it simple, they comes after my family lah kalau macam tu haha. We basicly knew all each other's ex (s), the stories, the dreams they have for their future, so it was nice to see on how Allah has planed everything for everyone at the right time.

Atiqah is the first one who settled down among our Gengsentap. When she told me she's getting engaged, i was a bit shock, others too - that we have to PM each other whats going on haha. We didnt know her husband, Hafiez back then and we only got to meet him during their engagement day. For me, the reason why i was shocked because we act didn't text each other for a few months for whatsonoreasons so to actually get a whatsapp sayings you're getting engaged out of nowhere surely terkejut kan? Dah kenapa minah ni? Jumpa mana laki ni? haha. Fast forward, she asked me to be her pengapit which i did, Hanie and i managed to give her bridal shower 1 hour before her wedding hahah and during that time i was on my study leave for my exam so i took some time to lepak at her house - basuh toilet kemas bilik, layan her last minute bridezilla moment haha, helping with the stair decorations which i failed miserably, brought all sort of cream-coloured shawl for her to use for akad nikah -_- and etc and Alhamdulillah everything went well. Her wedding took place at her house for akad and Crystal Ballroom, Mines 2 for reception - 25th & 26th Nov 2016.

The second one, Aki is not losing when it comes to give sudden news too -_-. Still remembered when he suddenly asked me when i'm coming back to Malaysia while i was on my Europe holiday that time coz he wanted to go for merisik the next week. What iz thiz weh?? Tiba tiba je.  Well, it is actually not a shock thing to get married at our age but knowing his past, i cant help from it and he even said to me once that when he started to date Atiq (his wife), one of the reasons was he knew that he will not be pressured of getting married any sooner because he and Atiq have the same thought of getting married after 30. Puiiih la sorang sorang hahaha. Aki's akad took place in Keningau, Sabah where we had a thought of surprising them at the first place but ticket was soo expensive and knowing there are no Uber to take us into the deep side of Mount Brook scare us hahaha, kidding la. Sorry Aki, but we didn't missed the reception on his side at Dewan  MPAJ, Ampang - 25th March & 2nd April 2017.

The second last and last one goes to Wafi & Hanie. Well, these two has been a couple since 2010 (kootttttt?) so they should be getting married lah kan and there's no shocked moment like biar betul? sort of thing haha. In terms of their relationship, i think i knew their stories more than  Atq's & Aki's, maybe because both of them are actually my friends from the first place so sometime i got to know the story from both side haha, or maybe because i like to menyebok join their dates and trips, so i dont really feels like third-wheeling them or feels awkward when then start to manja manja or even gaduh infront of me -_-. And even though they didnt mentioned about their plan at the first place, i was sort of getting the idea by looking at Wafi's instastory post where they had both families meeting that time. Hani is a very well planned person so she had everything on her radar and even we asked for anything to help with pon she was like, 'no problem no problem', althought we (me and Atq) were her bridesmaids on her akad day and we did come as early as we could after our office time but really we did nothing except for arranging the hantaran -__-'. Akad was held at Hani's house and both reception were held at Dewan Siantan Putrajaya and Dewan Perdana Felda - 14th, 15th & 22nd July 2017.

So there goes all my close friends, in one year settled semua lol. Honestly, I knew this day will come and to my surprise, i did not become a sappy friends who cried for being left alone. I know some of them are thinking that i might be sad for being the single friends in the gang, nope, i am not sad because i'm still single - i still don't feel like getting married even though i see how happy they are (ok something wrong with me here) but i am sad when i think that we might not be as carefree as before - we might filtering all gossips/info about each other, we become more cautious of each other, we tend not to lepak too long anymore, well you know - what grown up people do. 

But one the positive side, the gang is getting bigger and merrier, and even bigger as Aki and Atiq are expecting their first child already and a big Alhamdulillah as their other half also can click with the gang which i thinks is the best part yeyyy. They might not realized but they are one of the people that i cherish most and i always pray that may Allah always ease and bless their marriage with happiness and lots of laughter, without any pains. 

Okay, enough la kot about them, now lets focus on myself. Bila nak kahwin ni? LOL.
